'Some of my paintings are of real people but sometimes my imagination wanders. I find myself noticing people around me and adding to what I can see. Chins get longer, a pint will appear by someone's elbow, or they'll be on the beach.
You could call those 'narrative portraits' – but I also really enjoy working on real people, and some of those are also for sale, in the 'Portraits' section of the site.'
