Slipstream 1
In 1988 John was commissioned by the Latimer Design Group in London to produce two illustrations for the science fiction film, Slipstream. The film starred Bob Peck, Mark Hamill, Bill Paxton, and Kitty Aldridge. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which the landscape of the Earth itself has been changed.
This was used worldwide for the teaser poster. The painting is slightly scratched but the damage is only visible under good light.
