Remember these books? They’re the brainchild of Stewart Cowley who was idling in an airport bookshop one day in the late 1970’s and wondered if it would be possible to dream up a context for much of the SF art of the time. It turned out that it was, and by the time this series had run its course it had sold 800,000 copies. He’s a genius.
And he’s coming to Loncon this coming week to sit on the panel to discuss the books. Saturday, 16th August at 10.00.
In fact this con is going to have a great Art Show. For a complete programme click here.
